WWE Stars Rally Behind Bianca Belair, Condemning Racist Comments and Standing Up for Inclusivity

EntertainmentWWE Stars Rally Behind Bianca Belair, Condemning Racist Comments and Standing Up for Inclusivity

Along with Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair is featured on the cover of the recently released video game, WWE 2K24.

An official game promo photo featuring Belair went viral earlier today, bringing the dark side of the internet to light. The photo sparked a ton of offensive racist remarks about Belair.

In response to the abuse, WWE stars have been defending Bianca throughout the day.

Let me start by reminding everyone that this is not an isolated incident. This is Big E. African American female wrestlers frequently encounter racism and misogyny:

Bianca was endorsed by Becky Lynch, who called her a WWE flag-bearer.

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley defended Bianca as well, hailing the WWE EST as a pioneer in the pro wrestling business:

In a longer letter, Zelina Vega clarified that Bianca has worked hard for her success and should serve as an example to everyone.

Bianca is one of the best this business and WORLD has ever seen. When I think of a hard worker, stand out, path paver, and someone who is genuinely a proud representation of her culture, it’s Bianca. She deserves everything she’s gotten and MORE. She EARNED the name EST.
The “fans” that took part in the blatant disrespect and hate towards her and other black men and women should be ashamed and embarrassed. It’s disgusting. But your hate will never EVER dim their shine. We love you B. You continue to be an inspiration to all of us.

Ivy Nile offered her admiration for Belair’s work ethic as follows:

@BiancaBelairWWE is everything I strive to be in the WWE. All 3 are the hardest working and influential people in my life, and I’m so grateful to know ALL of them. Much love, B #TennesseeStrong

Natalya chimed in with positive energy and a picture:

Let’s follow the wrestlers’ example and continue the conversation in the comments section below. It’s fantastic to see so many WWE stars and wrestling fans stand up for Bianca in opposition to the bigots who like spreading hate on the internet.
