Sharon Stone Reveals Producer’s Shocking Suggestion Involving Baldwin Brother for Performance Improvement

EntertainmentSharon Stone Reveals Producer's Shocking Suggestion Involving Baldwin Brother for Performance Improvement

In her autobiography, Sharon Stone stated that she was coerced by a Hollywood producer to have sex with a male co-star. In 2021’s The Beauty of Living Twice, the actress wrote, “[I] had a producer bring me to his office, where he had malted milk balls in a little milk-carton-type container under his arm with the spout open.” “He explained to me why I should f*ck my co-star so that we could have on-screen chemistry while he walked back and forth in his office with the balls falling out of the spout and rolling all over the wood floor.”

Stone has now disclosed the identities of those involved, although she did not at the time. Sliver, her 1993 follow-up to Basic Instinct, with Billy Baldwin as the actor and Robert Evans as the producer.

“They told me it was a vanity deal and I couldn’t have my approvals when it came time for me to do it,” she said on The Louis Theroux Podcast podcast, as reported by the Daily Mail. “They expected me to bring home another giant smash hit and they gave me casting approval and they gave me all these approvals.” “After that, they began blaming me for their errors, even though they hired directors and cast in a terrible manner.”

One day, Stone was called into Evans’s office by the producer of three slightly more memorable films, The Godfather, Rosemary’s Baby, and Chinatown, Evans, telling her that “he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better.” And since that was the issue, we needed Billy to improve in the film. And if I could just have sex with Billy, that would save the movie, and the true issue with the movie was me because I was so stiff. If only we could have chemistry on film.

Stone added, “Now all of a sudden, I’m in the “I have to f*ck people” business.”
