Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal 2 Set for June 1st with Unexpected Twist Revealed!

SportsNate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal 2 Set for June 1st with Unexpected Twist Revealed!

The goal of Nate Diaz’s previous matchup with Jorge Masvidal was to establish who was the world’s most formidable mother effer. They engaged in combat for the BMF belt, but Nate’s severe gash in his eyebrow forced the stop of the bout. Since then, as their UFC careers have come to a conclusion, these two have undergone a significant metamorphosis. We finally learn about a rematch between the two of them after much deliberation and discussion. But there’s a twist that most people didn’t see coming and that Dana White won’t likely appreciate. Both of these UFC icons will make more money from this second bout than they did from their one UFC fight combined.

Diaz vs Masvidal 2 will happen inside a ring

Yes, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, Jorge Masvidal will square off against Nate Diaz in a 10-round boxing bout. June 1st, the fight is being produced by Fanmio, the same promoter who brought us the Mayweather vs. Logan Paul bout. Ariel Helwani’s report states that the promoter will also collaborate with Masvidal’s Gamebred Boxing Promotions and Diaz’s Real Fight Inc. Once the two parties decide to discuss the impending event, further information about the battle will be made public. The event is now official, and Masvidal has already discussed it with Draft Kings.

In particular, Masvidal and Nate Diaz still have unresolved issues from their lone octagon fight. He believed that he could have won the battle via submission or knockout, but Nate’s eyebrow cut kept him from doing so. He ultimately won the BMF belt, but it wasn’t what he had hoped for. Nate Diaz and Jorge had been hinting at a potential rematch, which was finally confirmed today. Last but not least, the match will be light heavyweight.
