Oscars 2024: At the ceremony, Ryan Gosling gave a performance of Barbie’s I’m Just Ken. Actress Eva Mendes, his wife, recently posted a cute picture for him.

Following Ryan Gosling’s performance of I’m Just Ken from Barbie at the 96th Academy Awards, Eva Mendes has a message for her husband, the actor. Eva also posted a photo to Instagram on Monday that was motivated by Ryan’s performance attire.

Eva has a message for Ryan

She was sporting a black cowboy hat, dark sunglasses, and Ryan’s pink blazer from his performance in the picture. She had multiple costumes hanging behind her. “You took Ken all the way to the Oscars, RG,” wrote Eva. Come on home now, we have to put the kids to bed (emoji kiss).”

Fans react to Eva’s post

One of the fans commented on the picture, saying, “The highlight of the show was his musical performance.” “One of the greatest moments in Oscar history,” someone said. Excellent.” “Ryan is having a big night! You need to have been by his side, offering assistance! What a lovely memory you two could have had together!” an Instagram user remarked. An observer wrote, “He killed it!!” It was as though I was observing a friend. I felt quite proud.”

About Ryan at Oscars

The hit song was performed during the occasion by Ryan, Mark Ronson, and Andrew Wyatt. Other Barbie Kens Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Ncuti Gatwa joined them onstage. Slash made a surprise appearance as well. This year’s Oscars had a nomination for Best Original Song in I’m Just Ken. What Was I Made For by Billie Eilish and Finneas won the prize. For his role as Ken in Barbie, Ryan was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

Eva’s support for Ryan

Ryan has had Eva’s support throughout his struggle. Eva sent Ryan Gosling a note in January following his Oscar nomination. She gave him props for playing Ken in the Greta Gerwig-directed movie Barbie.

She posted, “So proud of my man,” on Instagram. When he assumed this post, there was a lot of animosity. He is being shamed for doing it by a lot of people. He built this utterly unique, hilarious, heartbreaking, now famous character and brought it all the way to the Oscars, in spite of all the trolling and stories published about him under the hashtag #Notmyken. I am incredibly honored to be Ken’s Barbie.”
